Before we hop on our bikes and explore the city, let’s have a cup of coffee and talk about the best practices for biking in traffic. Then, we’ll build urban cycling skills in a low stress format. Our route starts with off-street trails, then introduces the city’s modern, more comfortable styles of bike lanes. Included along the route are stops where we’ll discuss and learn ways to safely navigate more complex situations.
June 11th – Special Public Art Edition
We have somewhere special to go as an optional tour after our June 4th mini-clinic. The Walker Art Center in Minneapolis is reopening the Sculpture Garden after a complete renovation with 18 new artworks.
To celebrate, we’ll point out public art works during our clinic route. And for those with extra time, we’ll take an optional ride across downtown to the Walker and spend a little time exploring the new works then ride back via the Cedar Lake Trail to One On One Bike Studio.

What if My Bike …has a flat? …is making a funny noise? Arrive at least 30 minutes early to give the shop mechanics a chance to do any quick repairs needed. If they can’t fix your bike on the spot, you can use a NiceRide bike for $6.
If you need service help, please bring your bike through the alley to the bike rack at the rear entrance. Tell the mechanic that you are part of the clinic.
What if I Don’t Have a Helmet? … or Lights? We can arrange for loaners but you can also purchase these at the shop before the clinic.
